Once upon a day, Zehra was looking for an outfit to wear. She thought she could reach for her trusty kimono and head out the door (with a scarf, shoes, a maxi dress included on her body).
But then, the innocent child Zehra realised what the weather is. She also realised that the weather changes, from warm to cool, from cool to warm, from warm to freezing cold.
Yes the last one was what I welcomed. Well I didn't exactly welcome it warmly- get it? Puns everywhere!!
OMG just stop! You are actually so annoying how am I still here? Don't answer that.
Anyway, I realised I needed to actually think before I could actually walk out the door looking like a hippie. Here is our list, if you did or did not need, of "How to be a hippie in Winter"!!!!
We can read.
1) Hippie Jackets/Throws/Blankets
Obviously, Zehra, do you think we are all 5?
Whatever, don't be mean to me!!!! Anyway, as I was saying, in winter it's cold so the easiest way is to just wear a jacket/throw/blanket. Now that kimonos are a no-no in this frost loving cold, cardigans/blankets are a great way to feel like a hippie again with the material all around you- also you basically have an excuse to wear a super warm and cosy blanket in the name of fashion; so, you welcome.
Plus, if you've got a crazy piece you can calm the rest of your outfit down by just pairing it with a simple black dress or jumper, making these pieces the easiest thing. These are a few of our favourite hippie pieces...
