Hi guys!!!
I am so I excited because this is the first post on out "Beauty and Health" page!!!
This time, as you might be able to tell, its just me, Zehra coming to you beacause Sara didn't pierce her nose. So therefore she can't help you or add anything to this post. And that is also why its all black today(when its both of us, we use different colours so you know who's talking, or typing).
Anyway, I got my nose pierced some weeks ago and it was sooo exciting and I was veerrryy nervous. And a post like this would have helped me a lot. So if any of you are thinking about piercing your nose, or if you're just wondering about it... then, read on!

Before
Before you get a nose piercing you need to consider 4 things
To be honest, I mostly considered number 1. I pretty much trusted myself with number 2, even though I didn’t think about it at all. For number 3, I decided I would just try it and see if any of my teachers notice- some teachers are strict and some don’t care at all and some of our school rules are stretched out a bit. As for number 4, I didn’t even consider once. And number 5 wasn’t too much of a problem.
So yeah. You could say I didn’t consider it much and made a bit of a rash decision.
During
Right before I got my nose pierced, I regretted my decision. I thought,” Oh, no. I’m making a huge mistake. No, Zehra. You have wanted this piercing for over 6 months and now your getting what you wanted. Don’t be a baby.” It reminded me of every time I go on flying foxes at camps. I always think about how what if this and what if that. Then I actually go on it- and it feels amazing. And then I don’t regret it anymore, I just want to go again. Not that I want to pierce my nose again.
After
Right after my nose had been pierced, I was just thinking about how sore my nose felt. But I did feel quite good for some reason. As I was walking out, I started to feel the stud in my nose. It felt weird, but after around 10 mins, I couldn’t feel it. As I was walking out of the shopping centre, I felt really badass, swaggy and cool, but I also felt like everyone I walked past was looking at me.
The Pain
To be honest, the actual thing didn’t hurt that much. It hurt a lot for one second, but after that it was just sore. It hurts less than an ear-piercing, if you’re wondering.
If you haven’t had your ears pierced, then, pinch your nose with your nails and maybe times that by two to three, maybe. I’m not too sure.
What other people thought
Obviously, I don’t know what people are thinking inside of their heads, but most people said that it suited me. The people i’m talking about are my aunties. I know (from their daughters, my cousins) that a couple of them didn’t like it- personal opinion. Some background info for you, so that you can understand my situation. In my dad’s culture, its normal. In my mum’s it isn’t. None of my relatives, from my mother’s side have their nose pierced. So you can I was revolutionary.
Don’t be conceited Zehra. You’re not that great.
Halal/Haram
Don’t quote me on this, I’m not a scholar or anything. But from what I know and what I believe, nose piercings and ear piercings are the only piercings that are Halal. They are only Halal though, if they are done for beautification or decorative purposes. If it is done to harm yourself, then they are Haram. But do ask a scholar or someone who will know and find out the details.
So that's all from me,

Before you get a nose piercing you need to consider 4 things
- If you are under 16(in Australia), if your parents let you.
- If you will regret it in a year, 5 years, etc.
- If you will be allowed to have it in at school, work, etc.
- If you will be able to handle it, i.e. if you do any sports that will require you to take it out/ or be careful with it.
- The cost (mine was $50)
